Shop Updates

Every month I add a few new crochet items to the shop! Keep an eye on the Events page, and expect to see items that didn’t sell in person added to the site. I will share sneak peeks and reminders on instagram, so follow me there to stay in the loop(:

Watercolor Instructions

Spritz pans of paint with water and allow it to activate for 1-5 minutes. The finer the pigment, the less time it needs to activate.

Allow your paint to dry completely before closing your tin, and store your paint in a cool, dry place to avoid mold.

Dot Cards: Dot cards are pieces of paper with a sample of usable watercolor attached. You may leave that sample on the paper and activate it as usual, or pull the sample off of the paper and activate it in the vessel of your choice. The samples are the same as regular watercolors, so follow the same directions as above.

Shipping and Returns

All orders, once confirmed, are typically processed within 3 business days. During busy months, like November and December, it may take up to 7 days for orders to be fulfilled. Commissions will take additional time to get to you, as the item needs to be made before it gets shipped out.

Returns, cancellations, and exchanges are not accepted, so please double check your order before it is placed.

I charge a $5 flat rate for shipping and handling in the US. This charge is the same for every order, regardless of size.

Your orders are carefully and lovingly packed to ensure safe arrival, but in the rare case that you have received a damaged item, or your package has gone missing, please reach out to me via email (bethmarchettiart@gmail.com) so we can talk and get the problem solved(:

I currently only offer shipping within the US. If you live outside of the US, feel free to send me an email to see what can be arranged. It is my hope to offer more shipping options in the future.

FAQ

What kind of yarn do you use?

I primarily use acrylic and cotton acrylic blends. These are the most accessible option with the largest variety of color. If you require an item made with a different fiber content (like wool or 100% cotton), please consider joining my commission waitlist. Keep in mind that natural fiber yarns will likely change the price of the item.

How much are commissions?

The price of a commission depends on your request. Generally, if you want an item from my website but in a custom color, the price will stay the same. Adding additional details, or requesting a higher quality yarn will increase the price. I will always give you a price and collect payment before beginning a project.

Where Do You Get Your Watercolor Pigments?

I buy my pigments primarily from The Earth Pigments Company and Natural Pigments, and Mica Pigments from Crafter’s Choice. I choose these companies because I can confirm that these pigments are harvested and made ethically.

What Makes These Watercolors Vegan?

Some watercolors are made with non-vegan products like honey, carmine, or glycerine derived from animal products, but the paints in my shop are not. All of my ingredients are free of animal products and vegan friendly. If you specific questions or concerns, feel free to send me an email(:
